Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

16 years ago was the establishment of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Makassed Hospital and since then it is considered the referral center for management of critically ill children until stabilization. The unit is located in the third floor on the north section, and is a 3 bed unit. The unit is staffed by European and American Board certified pediatric critical care specialists.  Other members include residents and fellows as well as the highly specialized nursing team.
