Introduction

Dr. Mariam Rajab has obtained her diploma in medicine from Université Paul Sabatier in Toulouse, France -She completed her CES and obtained the French National Board of Pediatrics (Professor Regnier and Professor Ghisolfi). - she was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neonatology and Pediatric Intensive CareToulouse – France (Professor Regnier). - she obtained Inter Universities Diploma in Medicine and Neonatal Reanimations – Tours, France. - she received her Diplôma en Management Hospitalier from Ecole Superieuredes Des Affaires. -she received her Masters in Management from Chicoutimi, Canada. -As for her professional experience, she is the chairperson of the pediatrics department at Makassed General Hospital. - She is the Head of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Makassed General Hospital. -She is a Clinical Professor in Pediatrics at Beirut Arab University, the Lebanese University and Balamand University. -She is the chairperson of the Institutional Review Board committee at Makassed General Hospital. -Dr. Rajab held many positions in scientific societies. She is the Ex-Chairman of the National Expert Group for Polio Eradication at the Lebanese Ministry of Health – WHO. -She is the Ex-president of Arab Pediatric Society. -She is a member of the Perinatal Medicine Society. -Regarding her research work, Dr. Rajab has more than 100 publications as manuscripts and case reports in the fields of pediatrics, neonatology, pediatric surgery and anesthesia.
