Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine

The department includes an Intensive Care Unit - ICU, the Respiratory Therapy Unit, and the Pulmonary Diagnostic Laboratory. Lung specialists offer a wide range of procedures and treatments, including bronchoscopy, air blood gases (ABGs) and Pulmonary Function Test (PFT).

The intensive care team provides outstanding healthcare for critically-ill patients who require 24-hour monitoring, as well as life saving procedures that are often performed at the bedside.

The six pulmonologists perform their procedures in the new Riyadh Medical Intensive Care Center made of 9 well-equipped beds and a  central monitoring station.
