Infection Control Program

 The objective of the Infection Control Program - IC, is to identify and reduce potential infection risks in patients and healthcare workers.

Our staff coordinates all activities related to surveillance, investigation, prevention and control of infections within the hospital, and promotes a healthy and safe environment by teaching appropriate safety and infection control guidelines to prevent transmission of infectious factors between patients, staff and visitors.

 Awareness and training sessions are also held by the staff; including Hand Hygiene Day, personal protective equipment (PPE), outbreak awareness, prevention and control.
