Gastroenterology

The division is closely linked to the internal medicine division. Six practitioners provide the latest specialized services to patients with digestive tract conditions through accurate diagnosis and treatment, by using Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography-ERCP), pHmetry, intragastric balloon placement, among other services. The department has a fellowship program in afliliation with Beirut Arab University (BAU), and many MGH graduates also underwent clinical training in gastroenterology at Lille University in France.
