The division of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at Makassed General Hospital is a very versatile division that includes all the subspecialties of ENT.

The division has been hosting a residency program and training residents from Beirut Arab University and other Lebanese Universities since 2019.

One of its great achievements is that it has become a referral center in Lebanon for Head and Neck Cancer surgery, and one of the rarest, if not the only center, that performs Head and Neck microsurgical reconstruction using free tissue transfer with a flap success rate of 100 percent, along with a big spectrum of other diseases and a wide panel of surgical procedures. The division has also become a referral center for pediatric otolaryngology and can perform cochlear implants for children, as well as congenital airway management.
